I merge my high eco fashion with art, fashion and sustainability, such as with the homage to my grandfather, architect Paul Schneider-Esleben, as well as in collaborations with Emil Schult, audiovisual artist and “Eye of Kraftwerk”, and the visual artist, Rana Matloub, from Iraq.

As a fashion designer and pattern director, I have mastered the composition of body dimensions and proportions, as well as a sensitivity for materials, colors and patterns. In my design process, my artist collaborations involve translating their works onto my formal figurines and graphically adapting their bodies. (This is how I digitally create each draft in different sizes). Then I drape on the tailor's dummy to create my cuts. With a trained eye, I can intuitively see which patterns merge with my collections. The artists I curate are always compatible with my holistic philosophy and their work inspires my innovative mix of materials, cuts and color trends, whether large or small, linear or diverging, light, dark or pulsating.

In my digital sketchbook I experiment with my collection designs and the proportions of the digitized works of art, transforming art into fashion. In the next step, the final repeats, the repeating patterns for fabric printing, are created digitally. Here I determine how large the pattern will ultimately be for fabric printing, how brilliant the colors are, and whether the works need to be graphically adjusted.
If all parameters are correct, the files are printed in Germany on organic cotton or in Poland on bamboo using the inkjet reactive process with drinkable organic inks that are colorfast and lightfast without using any water.

Slow fashion

means that it sets itself apart from fast fashion. The SlowFashionIndustry advocates for fair wages for all textile workers in the supply chain, from farmers to weavers, knitters, printers and tailors, to button, zipper, label and yarn manufacturers.
My design is about quality and not quantity, according to my motto: “be responsible for what you wear.”

I produce two collections a year, winter and summer, in small editions to avoid overproduction. If a garment is sold out, it can be re-produced at an additional cost of just €100 from the original price, this takes approximately 3-6 weeks. My collections each consist of collaborations with innovative artists.

I am currently working on a reFund system where customers can return beloved clothing for resell on my website schneider-esleben.com. If the resale is successful, my customers receive a voucher for their next purchase.

Smart fashion:

My fashion language consists of design, craftsmanship and ecology, clever cuts in a puristic form, casual and business approved, non-seasonal, ageless and unisex and therefore timeless. EcoFashion is the 2nd skin and can be smart & be made-in-EU!

My collections are worn for every occasion, my customers are women and men, old and young, wear their prints as a wedding dress, to meetings to feel strong or casually with the Sunday newspaper. This is smart fashion.Since the prints are not placed, but are continuous in a repeat, each piece of clothing is unique and protects the environment, as placing prints unnecessarily wastes material.

Eco fashion:

My material policy: I run a vegan label, transparent supply chains, my partners and suppliers are from Germany & Europe

The organic cotton I curate is woven, knitted in Saxony and printed according to my designs with drinkable organic dyes without using water.
All components such as fabrics, yarns, buttons, zippers and labels are organic: pure, vegan and GOTS certified, produced in Lithuania with 100% women's power.
My collection is compostable because I avoid synthetics.
A piece of clothing of mine only travels 3,500 km from the cotton field in Turkey to my customers, instead of 65,000 km as in conventional fashion, so I already reduce the CO2 emissions during transport due to my regional production in Germany, without using air freight. I work according to the C2C principle; Larger offcuts that arise during production are upcycled into accessories, smaller leftovers are picked up from daycare centers or old people's homes in my production in Lithuania for handicrafts.
My production is transparent because my QR code is sewn into my items. My customers end up on my website www.schneider-esleben.com/whomade-my-clothes, where all information is described in detail: material, certification, production site & Washing instructions.
In my studio I work with green electricity. I use recycled paper for my packaging and reuse packages multiple times. For animal welfare, I avoid 99% of animal products. This is how I use my corozo buttons, if wool is used, is it RWS certified (Responsible Wool Standard) or recycled and my collection is therefore PETA vegan approved.
