1. Terms of Use for Sophia Schneider-Esleben
Agreement to Terms of Use: these Terms and Conditions of Use apply to the website located at www.schneider-esleben.com. The website is the property of Sophia Schneider-Esleben. While using the schneider-esleben.com website you accept our Terms and Conditions. Please note that these terms may change at any time. All orders placed by you via the website and our deliveries and services are exclusively subject to the following general Terms and Conditions, in the version that is valid at the time of the order. Conflicting terms and conditions put forward by customers can only be accepted if we have agreed to their validity in writing.
2. Content
All text, graphics, photographs, visual interfaces, user interfaces, trademarks, logos, sounds, music, artwork and computer code (collectively called “content”) including but not limited to the design, structure, selection, coordination, expression and arrangement of such content contained on the site is owned, controlled or licensed by or to Sophia Schneider-Esleben. It is protected by trade dress, copyright, patent and trademark laws, various other intellectual property rights and unfair competition laws. Except as expressly provided in these Terms of Use, no part of the site and no content may be copied, reproduced, republished, uploaded, posted, publicly displayed, encoded, translated, transmitted or distributed in any way (including “mirroring”) to any other computer, server, website or other medium for publication or distribution or for any commercial enterprise, without Sophia Schneider-Esleben’s express prior written consent.
3. Shipping and Delivery
Orders are processed every weekday, with the exception of public holidays, pending payment authorization and verification. Packages typically arrive within 1–14 days from the date we receive the order. Products will be shipped directly from Germany by DPD/DHL. Packages must be signed for. International orders may take longer.
Please note: if a package is not claimed by the purchaser and subsequently returned to Germany, Sophia Schneider-Esleben will not send a replacement. Sophia Schneider-Esleben is not responsible for any actions taken by customs agencies which affect your package in transit, nor does the company exercise any control over such matters. The purchaser is responsible for any customs charges that may be applied to the package. Such charges are determined by the customs agencies of each country and Sophia Schneider-Esleben has no way of ascertaining how high these may be.
4. Shipping Rates
Shipping rates charged by Sophia Schneider-Esleben are supplemental to the prices of goods.
Delivery within Germany: 5.00 EUR
Customers who choose to pay cash on delivery will be charged 6.00 EUR in addition to the standard delivery rate.
Delivery rates outside Germany:
12.50 EUR: Belgium, Denmark, Luxembourg, Netherlands;
19.00 EUR: Andorra, Finland, France, Greece, United Kingdom, Ireland, Italy, Austria, Poland,Portugal, Sweden, Spain;
25.00 EUR: Bulgaria, Latvia, Lithuania, Hungary, USA;
30.00 EUR: Canada, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, Switzerland;
35.00 EUR: Estonia, Malta, Czech Republic, Cyprus;
40.00 EUR: Australia, Bosnia-Herzegovina, China, Hong Kong, Israel, Japan, Croatia, Kuwait, Russia,South Korea, Saudi Arabia and Ukraine.
5. Return and Exchange Policy
Returns can only be made if the product is in an unworn condition. Goods can be returned if there are factory defects, if the wrong colour or size was sent or if there has been another error on our part. Customers requesting a return must send us an e-mail stating their name and invoice number within five days of receiving the product. We will e-mail you instructions on how to return the product. We will not pay the shipping charges for returning the goods to us and delivering the replacement goods to you.
Exchanges can only be made if the product is in an unworn condition. Goods can be exchanged if the colours are different than pictured, if products do not fit, or if you would rather have a different product. Customers receive a voucher by retourn and will not receive any cachback. Customers requesting an exchange must send us an e-mail stating their name and invoice number within five days of receiving the product. When an exchange is made we do ask that you pay for the shipping to us and back to you. If your desired product is no longer available, you will receive a credit note which must be redeemed within six months.
4. Accounts, Password and Security
Personal information is gathered by schneider-esleben.com during the ordering process at the checkout. At this point, your name, address, e-mail address, telephone number, fax number and credit card information will be collected. Your account username and password will be requested at the same time. Please note that your username is your email address and you may create your own unique password.If you forget your password you can request that it be e-mailed to your e-mail address.
For security reasons, schneider-esleben.com does not store sensitive credit-card information on our servers. The security of the information regarding your order is very important to us. We use the 128-bit Secure Socket Layer protocol to protect the security of your online order information. Please be assured that all sensitive information will be handled with discretion. SSL technology encrypts your order information to protect it from being decoded by anyone other than schneider-esleben.com.Once you enter the checkout page your computer will begin communicating with our server in secure mode. 2. In the event of one or more provisions being invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions remains unaffected.
